Rodney Crawford

Rodney Crawford specializes as a consultant and expert in the fields of forensic accounting, economic damages analysis in commercial disputes, automotive industry issues and business valuation.A significant portion of Rod’s practice is forensic accounting and loss analysis for post-acquisition claims and disputes, including more than 100 engagements involving analysis of claims submitted under Representations and Warranties Insurance policies.

Rod’s experience spans a broad range of industries, but a special concentration has been in automotive supply chain disputes. He has worked extensively with the large automotive OEM’s and both large and small automotive components suppliers for over 45 years.

In 2002 Rod founded the firm Crawford & Winiarski, which was acquired by GlassRatner in 2023. Prior to joining Crawford & Winiarski, Rod was the partner in charge of the Financial & Economic Consulting practices of Arthur Andersen LLP in the Great Lakes Region, after serving as a partner in Andersen’s assurance and corporate finance practices.

Rod has served as a financial expert in well over 200 engagements involving testimony in deposition, trial and alternative dispute resolution settings as an expert in auditing and accounting, commercial economics, financial and operational analysis, fraud investigation, determination of economic damages and business valuation. Rod has also participated in hundreds of additional commercial dispute engagements in a consulting role, a mediation role or where resolution of the matter was achieved without expert testimony.

Rod has been a course instructor, seminar leader and speaker at numerous professional conferences and continuing education programs on topics including auditing and accounting, litigation consulting, accounting theory and practice and forensic accounting.
