Josh is a Director at GlassRatner, where he assists clients in navigating complex financial matters requiring forensic accounting, consulting, and litigation support services.

Josh’s expertise includes fraud investigations, class action litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, employee theft and embezzlement, breach of contract matters, patent and trademark infringement claims, fraudulent transfers and conveyance, trust and estate disputes, and misappropriation of assets. He has supported clients across a wide range of industries and has experience working on matters in both litigation and non-litigation settings.

Prior to joining GlassRatner, Josh worked at public accounting firms within their financial statement audit, business advisory, and business management service lines, developing a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and advisory services.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Dalhousie University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) licensed in Ontario and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

  • Expert testimony and report for Class plaintiffs in a healthcare data privacy breach. Calculation of damages relating to the value of personal health information for over 2.3 million individuals during the damages period.
  • Led the internal investigation of a real estate management company to assess and calculate the impact of an employee embezzlement scheme. Damages related to approximately $1 million in the misuse of company rewards and bonus programs.
  • Led and managed the calculation of damages in a criminal investigation relating to employee fraud in a private airline company. Case related over $700,000 in fictitious fees charged by multiple individuals over a three-year period.
  • Led the rebuttal calculation of alleged damages for a top music performer’s recording contracts and compensation over a 12-year period. Analysis included a review of agreements, artist performances, and payments of $40 million in disputed manager commissions.
  • Calculation of damages to various financial institutions relating to a data breach exposing over 5.9 million records from a fast-food restaurant chain.
  • Led and managed the analyses of damages claims in excess of $11M by various fiber optic cable subcontractors during the construction of a sports and entertainment facility in Georgia.
