Eric Frickel is a Principal in GlassRatner’s Executive Search & Interim Management practice. He is a search partner in the US practice with over 20 years of experience leading engagements for private equity portfolio company leadership, investment team professionals, and portfolio operations.  He brings specialization in the finance and operations functions with an emphasis on placing transformational leaders.  His industry expertise includes industrials, manufacturing, business services, healthcare services and information technology.

Eric previously started and led the private equity search practice at BrainWorks, a leading market executive search firm in the New York area, and also initiated led the private equity search practice at a boutique firm in Atlanta, GA.

Prior to executive search, he began his career at Ernst & Young where he gained a strong background in accounting and M&A due diligence. He continued his career at a leading middle market investment banking group at Duff & Phelps as well as performed restructuring and litigation at Huron Consulting.

Eric holds a BS in accounting and finance from The University of Michigan.

Eric has completed five marathons, numerous half marathons, and multiple triathlons. He was also a member of the University of Michigan soccer team from 1994 to 1998, serving as team captain in both 1997 and 1998.
