Daniel Aguauas is a Director at GlassRatner. He is part of the Forensic Accounting & Litigation Support practice, based in the Detroit and Grand Rapids offices. He has over 16 years of experience providing economic damages analysis in connection with complex commercial disputes, business valuation, forensic accounting, and financial fraud investigations. His work also includes due diligence related to buyer side representation, warranty insurance policy claims, and other financial and accounting advisory services.

Mr. Aguauas is a charter holder of the CFA designation and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Detroit Society. He is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and a member of the American Society of Appraisers. His business valuation experience includes valuations for shareholder disputes, estate and gift tax purposes, mergers and acquisitions, divorces, and business planning.

Mr. Aguauas is proficient in multiple valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow analysis, capitalization of earnings method, guideline public company method, and comparable transaction analysis. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) – West Michigan.

Prior to joining GlassRatner, Mr. Aguauas worked ten years at Crawford & Winiarski, a legacy firm of GlassRatner, and six years at a global public accounting and consulting firm.
