Jouky Chang, Raymond Moran, and Elbert Choi Join Firm to Deliver Independent Valuation Services Across the Americas and Beyond

GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, LLC (“GlassRatner”), a top North American Financial Advisory Services Firm known for its award-winning Restructuring and Litigation Support practices, announced the addition of three distinguished Valuation industry leaders: Jouky Chang, CFA, CPA, CA; Raymond Moran, ASA, MRICS; and Elbert Choi, ASA, MRICS.

This strategic expansion reflects GlassRatner’s commitment to delivering comprehensive advisory services to clients across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. These significant additions mark the continued investment in non-disputed valuation advisory services through an independent and objective lens, supporting high net-worth individuals, privately held organizations, publicly traded companies, equity and debt investors, transaction advisors, compliance and regulatory agencies, and state and federal courts.

GlassRatner has always been known as a leader in Valuation Disputes and Valuation Litigation. This expansion has the firm embarking on an aggressive plan to broaden our Valuation Services business beyond the Disputes practice.

The addition of Chang, Moran, and Choi will further strengthen GlassRatner’s ability to support cross-border transactions. They bring to the firm an alliance network of 25 affiliated companies located throughout the Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific. This alliance enhances its current global networks with BTG Global Advisory and IIC Partners, bolstering our capability to provide expertise to the international community and improving the efficiency and speed of cross-border transactions.

Leadership Experience

Jouky Chang has more than 25 years of valuation experience across business combinations, impairment testing, acquisitions and divestitures, and tax planning matters. Previously a Managing Director at FON Valuation Services and Duff & Phelps, Chang also served as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2010-2012, where he focused on valuation and fair value measurement matters.

For more than 40 years, Raymond Moran has specialized in valuations for cross-border mergers and acquisitions, with extensive experience across the Americas, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. As current chair of the International Institute of Business Valuers (iiBV), Moran brings global leadership and deep expertise in complex, international valuation matters. He previously served as a Managing Director at FON Valuation Services and CEO of MG Valuation, a firm operating in 17 countries worldwide.

Elbert Choi has more than 15 years of experience valuing business interests and intangible assets for accounting, tax, and corporate matters. Previously a Senior Vice President at FON Valuation Services and Hilco Global, where Choi led the Enterprise Valuation Services group for over 12 years, completing hundreds of valuation engagements for organizations ranging from closely held companies to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
