Sean Pattison is a Managing Director at GlassRatner, based in the Detroit office. He specializes in restructuring and turnaround engagements, and brings 19 years of experience guiding companies through complex turnaround situations, restructurings, and debt refinancing.
Mr. Pattison’s clients span a range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, and healthcare. His automotive work includes both OEMs and automotive suppliers. He advises OEMs on distressed and underperforming suppliers requiring financial support, providing analysis and guidance to help determine the best path forward. Sean helps automotive suppliers navigate periods of uncertainty and supports organizations of all sizes, from family-owned and middle-market businesses to billion-dollar companies backed by private equity.
Before joining GlassRatner, Sean was the co-leader of the Restructuring and Transformation team at Plante Moran. In that role, he helped companies address critical challenges, improve profit margins, and regain financial stability.
He is a past board member and former President of the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and is also a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
