Robert Mroz, ASA, CBA, CVA, MBA, is a Managing Director at GlassRatner in its Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support practice, with over 38 years of experience in analyzing and valuing businesses, both from a forensic standpoint and on a prospective basis, and in preparing and evaluating claims for economic damages arising from various types of legal disputes.
Robert’s work typically involves the analysis of financial, business and accounting records in matters related to general litigation matters, as well as business valuation and forensic accounting investigations.
Since 1986, Robert has been dedicated to helping attorneys and their clients navigate the legal environment in litigation matters, successfully presenting his findings in multiple forums. Prior experience in Robert’s career included real estate industry and independent consulting experience.

- Robert and his team reviewed and analyzed transactions over a ten year period, identifying and quantifying total funds diverted from the business to the Defendant’s personal use.
- Performed analysis related to each potential allegation and prepared analyses and summary of findings for each separate allegation.
- As a result of the series of articles produced by the print journalist and newspaper highlighting the questionable financial transactions and red flags, several government entities, including the state securities commission and the state board of accountancy, investigated and filed cases against the non-profit charitable foundation.
- Court ruled for Plaintiff and against Defendant related to Fair Value issues of dissenting shareholder matters.
- The Court approved the motion and excluded the dissenting shareholder’s testimony, dismissing the damage claim against the client.
- Assisted Counsel in a multi-billion dollar energy trading partnership dispute with several issues.
- Retained by counsel to provide an analysis of costs incurred related to an environmental event at a mine site.
- Assisted counsel in a business interruption matter between an Arizona mining operation and its insurer; performed investigative accounting investigation on all claim items; quantified the lost profits related to the business interruption claim for the mining operations.
