Mike Galetto is a Principal in GlassRatner’s Executive Search & Interim Management practice, where he places senior executives and leadership teams into private equity portfolio companies, as well as operating partner roles at the PE firm level.

Mike was previously Vice President of Talent at a lower middle market private equity firm investing in manufacturing, business services, and value added distribution. In that role, he recruited several CEOs and leadership teams and built the firm’s first in house fundraising and investor relations team. He also introduced executive assessment tools to support disciplined executive selection.

Prior to focusing on private equity, Mike spent several years at diversified industrial organizations including Danaher Corporation and Dover Corporation, helping to build and manage internal executive recruiting functions. His experience operating within complex industrial environments has given him a strong appreciation for leaders who drive long term, sustainable results, as well as a deep respect for continuous improvement and lean methodologies.

Mike is certified in Hogan Assessments, a personality assessment tool used widely in PE and corporate environments. He has a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
