Michael D. Barrow is a Managing Director at GlassRatner. He brings more than 37 years of experience in commercial real estate valuation and consulting. His practice encompasses a broad range of property types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use developments, as well as specialized assets such as medical facilities, educational properties, self-storage facilities, and redevelopment sites.

Michael is a Florida‑ and Georgia‑Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and prior to joining GlassRatner in 2026 Michael led his own firm called Barrow Valuation Group, a boutique appraisal and consulting firm with offices in Atlanta and Miami. Prior to rebranding the firm under his namesake, he established and led Commercial Valuation Services, Inc. (CVS) in Atlanta beginning in 2002, following seven years with the firm’s Birmingham office.

He holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and the MRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Michael has advised a diverse client base that includes regional and national financial institutions, attorneys, developers, government agencies, and corporate users.
