Greg Corona is a high-energy executive with over 35 years of experience in executive positions in operations, finance, private equity and venture capital. His background includes being a four-time CEO, Managing Partner, two-time CFO, COO and Managing Director, as well as Chairman or Member of 18 corporate Boards, Audit Committees or Governance Committees.

The previous 24 years have included executive level positions managing private equity and venture capital with prominent investment firms. A successful combination of investment management and Director experience has resulted in Mr. Corona leading significant value creation by combining, (i) operating experience as a CEO/COO, (ii) Director experience as a Chairman and member of Audit and Governance Committees, (iii) industry focus in industrials, financial services and technology and, (iv) international experience in operations and investments.

24 Years of Executive Positions in Private Equity and Venture Capital

Mr. Corona is the Chairman & Managing Partner of Lakewood & Company, a 20-year-old operationally oriented investment firm in private equity and late-stage venture capital investing in Diversified Industrials and Business Services.

During his tenure in Private Equity & Venture Capital, Mr. Corona also served as a Partner at Paladin Capital Group, a multi-stage investment firm, an Executive Advisor at DE Shaw & Co., a global investment firm, Chief Investment Officer of Lakewood Hughes Fund, a private equity fund, and CEO of Malibu IQ, an investment partnership to commercialize certain intellectual property of the HRL Laboratories.

22 Years of Executive Positions in Operations and Corporate Finance

Served in various privately owned companies as a CFO for a technology company providing e-commerce storage and management of information databases, President & CEO of the largest publisher and related media in the consumer travel category, COO of a middle market holding company serving the transportation industry with operations in machine tools, contracting and manufacturing and completing several transactions in North America, Europe and China, and President & CEO of a manufacturer of automotive components.

Mr. Corona began his career with the Ford Motor Company and held a variety of positions as a manager and financial analyst with Finance Staff, World Headquarters and the Controller’s Office of the Parts and Service Division. His responsibilities included monthly financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting of worldwide Corporate Staffs and as a Manager of the Warranty Financial Analysis Department.

Mr. Corona received a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Michigan State University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit and completed an Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Corona also received the Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors and is qualified as a financial expert for the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
