Elijah Cabezas is an Asset Manager at GlassRatner. He is an results-driven real estate investment and management professional with over 5 years of experience in Multifamily Acquisitions, Dispositions, Management, Construction Management, Capex, and Due Diligence. Prior to joining GlassRatner, Mr. Cabezas was a Senior Vice President of a Southeast U.S. based Private Equity firm, as the Director of Acquisitions. In addition, he has previously worked as a Partner of a General Contracting firm, and a Real Estate Private Equity firm as the lead director for acquisitions.
As an Asset Manager for GlassRatner, Mr. Cabezas’s focuses on property management, construction management, human capital, budget management, and advisory for distressed and transitional assets. He brings deep expertise in underwriting, due diligence, capital raising, business planning, construction management, Capex planning, and value-add repositioning strategies that maximize long term financial turnarounds of Multifamily and Commercial assets. Recognized for his “Relationships first” approach, Elijah has built partnerships throughout the industry and is know for his ability to align teams of construction, leasing, lenders, investors, and operational teams to achieve high performance markers and turn opportunities into closed deals.
Before GlassRatner, Elijah served as the EVP of Southeast Property Group, where he procured and led all aspects of a proprietary $1 Billion pipeline of multifamily acquisitions, $10 million in equity raises, and oversaw and created 500+ relationships on behalf of the firm across owners, brokers, and industry related references. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles within The Klotz Group, where he assisted in acquisitions across the Southeast. Over his five years, Elijah has underwritten, evaluated, advised on, and directly sourced over $1.5 Billion in multifamily opportunities. Directly managing over day-to-day operations of the acquisition’s teams, Elijah also worked in the asset management and construction management roles for both groups. He is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Florida, a CCIM and CFI candidate undergoing requirements.
