David Greenblatt is a Managing Director at GlassRatner. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor with over fifteen years of experience providing bankruptcy and restructuring services, forensic accounting, and litigation support. His industry experience includes hospitality, retail, manufacturing, real estate, and nursing homes.

Prior to re joining GlassRatner, Mr. Greenblatt worked in the New York restructuring offices of two national consulting firms, where he represented debtors, creditor committees, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings. His work included financial modeling and projections, financial statement review and analysis, oversight of daily operations, and investigation of preference and fraudulent transfer litigation. He also assisted in the creation of business plans for reorganizations.

Mr. Greenblatt has worked on forensic accounting matters involving complex tracing of funds and assets and reconstruction of financial statements. His representative engagements include managing and assisting with both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases from inception through case closing, investigating preference payments and fraudulent transfers, overseeing operations and preservation of assets, preparing budgets, projections, schedules, and business plans for Chapter 11 reorganizations, performing buy side and sell side due diligence and quality of earnings engagements, and supporting operational restructurings of distressed entities.

Mr. Greenblatt is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor. He earned both a Master of Accounting and a Master in Taxation from Nova Southeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
