GlassRatner Welcomes Joseph Mevorah as Senior Managing Director, Expanding New York Practice

Veteran Leader Joins GlassRatner to Strengthen Capital Markets and Valuation Advisory Practice

GlassRatner is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Mevorah as Senior Managing Director out of New York. With over three decades of experience in investment and corporate banking, Mr. Mevorah brings a wealth of expertise in valuation, strategic advisory, and capital markets to the firm.

Mr. Mevorah is a recognized industry expert in consulting, valuation, and advisory services for banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, asset managers, and other financial institutions. His specialties include loan and securities valuations, asset liquidation, capital markets advisory, M&A advisory, and complex securities valuation.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mevorah has advised on strategic transactions and capital raises representing billions of dollars in value and has overseen the liquidation of over $50 billion in assets. His client portfolio spans community and regional banks to global financial institutions, as well as federal and state regulators.

Prior to joining GlassRatner, Mr. Mevorah held senior roles at several international advisory firms, including Kroll and Hilco. He also served as Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey and Gleacher & Company, was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, and a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers. Earlier in his career, he completed formal credit training at Security Pacific Bank (now Bank of America).

Mr. Mevorah holds an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
